INTRODUCTION

To our new and returning workshop leaders:
The OLLI at SBU Program is grateful to you for agreeing to lead a workshop for the OLLI members. The dedication and talents of the workshop leaders are what drives the success of the program.

This handbook was designed to provide some guidance and tips for first time leaders, and to serve as a refresher for our experienced leaders. Each individual brings their own experiences and background knowledge to their workshops, and therefore may use these suggestions selectively. Should a workshop leader find they need additional assistance, we urge you to consult with the Curriculum Committee. These individuals will assure that additional assistance is provided.
