Including Sexual Misconduct and Barriers to Accessibility
You may report an allegation of discrimination, including sexual misconduct, directly to OEA. You do not need to first discuss an incident with a supervisor, manager, dean or department or anyone else prior to accessing any of the reporting options below.
If you are in immediate danger contact University Police at 333 from a campus phone or 631-632-3333 from a non-campus phone. If you are not on campus, contact 911 for your local police.

Employee Disability Interactive Process
The Employee Disability Accommodation Process is a collaborative and interactive process between the staff member, the supervisor (if necessary), Human Resources and the Office of Equity & Access (OEA) (if necessary). An Employee Disability Accommodation Request Form is available for your convenience. OEA is responsible for coordinating and overseeing this process for all employees. Please feel free to contact your appropriate OEA with any questions or concerns.
Employee Accommodation due to Religious beliefs, practices, or observances Interactive Process
When an employee needs an accommodation due to their religious beliefs, practices, or observancess, the interactive process will consist of the employee, their supervisor, the Office of Equity & Access (OEA), and Human Resources (if needed) who will work together collaboratively to determine the barrier and find an appropriate accommodation. You can access an Employee Accommodation Process due to Religious Belief or Practice Request Form for your convenience. The OEA will manage and oversee this process for all employees, and you can reach out to them if you have any questions or concerns.
