Laura Kolb received her PhD from the University of Chicago in 2014. Prior to arriving
at Stony Brook, she taught at Baruch College CUNY for over a decade. Her work focuses
on the intersections of early modern drama, gender, and theories of the social. Her
first book, Fictions of Credit in the Age of Shakespeare, was published by Oxford in 2021.
