Policies and Compliance

A primary function of the Office of the Controller is to ensure financial compliance and to support the University population by providing guidance for certain compliance requirements and to serve as a resource for when questions arise. 

Here at SBU, there are University specific financial policies as well as other SUNY wide policies that must be adhered to during the course of business.
