Registration Support Assistants (RSA's)
Who We Are:
RSA's are peer mentors who have been trained to assist students with transaction support during course registration. This may include but is not limited to:
> Helping find courses
> Troubleshooting closed classes and reserved seats
> Navigate SOLAR
> Navigate Schedule Builder
> How to Read DegreeWorks
RSA's help Advisors during advising outreach programs and also help educate students on advising services through social media and other initiatives.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Good Judicial Standing
- Ability to work 40 hours for the semester, primarily between the hours of 10am-12pm and 1-4pm Monday through Friday. Some evening hours are required. The majority of internship hours will occur during the first 2 weeks of the semester (add/drop/swap) and in mid-October-November during the winter and spring enrollment period. Additional hours occur throughout the semester during advising programs and other outreach efforts.
- Ability to be thorough and efficient. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and have outstanding problem solving skills.
- Although not required, we are looking for Fellows who would be interested in continuing the internship with us long-term (multiple semesters).
