OVPR invites applications for the DOE Inertial Fusion Energy Science & Technology Accelerated Research (IFE-STAR) program, which offers funding for multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary IFE Science and Technology Innovation Hubs. Stony Brook University may submit ONE application.

WHAT DOES IT FUND: This program seeks to provide an inertial fusion energy (IFE) framework that leverages expertise and capabilities across national laboratories, academia, and industry to advance foundational IFE Science and Technology (S&T) using integrated and self-consistent solutions.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS: No restrictions
AWARD: $2,000,000 - $4,000,000 per year for four years
