Engineering Secure Environments from Targeted Attacks Center of Excellence (COE) - Center Lead

This is a  canvass to determine whether an internal competition will be necessary for this limited submission program. If you are interested in applying to this program, you must notify OPD by submitting the internal competitions form. Pre-applications are not yet required.

The Department of Homeland Security has released a NOFO for Engineering Secure Environments from Targeted Attacks Center of Excellence (COE) – Center Lead to establish a university-led consortium that is focused on detecting, deterring, and mitigating targeted violence. Stony Brook University may submit ONE proposal to this program.

WHAT DOES IT FUND: The Center Lead will work with partner organizations to conduct research, develop and transition mission-relevant science and technology, educate the next generation of homeland security technical experts, and train the current workforce in the latest scientific applications.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS: No restrictions.

AWARD: Up to $3,650,000 per year for up to 10 years.
