Jodi Gaete

Jodi has been a professor at Suffolk Community College for the last 28 years and, prior to that, at several other colleges and universities on Long Island including Nassau Community College and Hofstra University. She has taught classes in all areas of the Communication field, including oral communication, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.

Jodi completed her undergraduate work at Binghamton University and her graduate work in Communication at Boston University’s College of Communication. Her post-graduate studies include classes taken at SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Albany.

She has three children and lives with her husband in Setauket. In her spare time she does volunteer work for local pet shelters and fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She is also an avid runner.
