  • Arpita Abrol
    Arpita
    Arpita is a junior at Stony Brook majoring in Computer Science. She got involved as the Treasurer and current President of the Women in Computer Science and as a member of the Stony Brook Computing Society and Ballroom Dance Team. She interned at Bloomberg LP, Dotdash and works as a Google Cloud Platform Student Innovator. The weirdest food that she has ever eaten is fried scorpion.

    Nathan is a junior at Stony Brook majoring in Chemical & Molecular Engineering with a specialization in Chemistry. He got involved as a Chem-E-Car co-captain for the Stony Brook Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, works for the DoIT and does research with the CHE department. He has a vacation home in Maine.

    Olga is a senior at Stony Brook double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Economics with a minor in Computer Science. She got involved with the Running Club, Investment club and does research in the leadership and Creativity Research lab. She interned at Citigroup and did ballet in high school.

    Jason is a junior at Stony Brook double majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. He got involved with the Stony Brook Computing Society, the Stony Brook Robotics Team and is a former mentee. He interned at SyncIOT technologies and is an instructor at IDTech. He enjoys watching anime and reading light novels.

    Samuel is a senior at Stony Brook, majoring in Computer Science. He got involved as the current President of Theta Tau, a member of the Club Volleyball Team, the Honors College and is a former mentee. He interned for Amazon and Jasmine Universe. He studied abroad in Spain in high school.

He got involved in large-scale projects as the Secretary of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the current President of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He plays classical guitar and has taught it as an elective.

He got involved as a Chem-E-Car co-captain, the Department Coordinator of Shift Admins for RSP, as an RA and is a former mentee. He interned at Kohler Instruments and is a 2nd Degree Black Belt.

    Charlie is a senior at Stony Brook, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He got involved with acapella and dance at events like China Night, K-Night, and the Seawolf Showcase. He is also a former mentee. He just discovered how amazing the Kindle app is.

    Sejal is a junior at Stony Brook, majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship.  She got involved as an e-board member of the Society of Women Engineer, a member of 3Diatrics, Women in Computer Science and is in the WISE Honors Program. She has interned at Viacom and Microsoft and is the artist behind the Luna the Future mural on the 2nd floor of Light Engineering.

    Samuel is a graduate student at Stony Brook, pursuing an MS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics He got involved as member of the D1 Men’s Tennis Team, the Stony Brook Investment Club and the Stony Brook Strength Club. He was a product management intern for HIS Markit and a Transfer Pricing Consultant at Crow. He gained 60 pounds of muscle in 3 years.

    Chris is a senior at Stony Brook, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Bioelectricity and Bioimaging. He got involved as the former Secretary and Treasurer of the Stony Brook Robotics Team and a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society. He currently does research with Dr. Wei Lin in the BME Department. After adopting a pet cat for a few years, Chris can accurately replicate his cat's meow.

    Sam is a junior at Stony Brook, double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Mathematics. He got involved as the President of Chess Club, is doing research in the MAT department, studied global engineering abroad in Kenya and is a former mentee. He can solve a Rubik’s Cube.

He currently does research in the BME department and is a Vertically Integrated Project Program team member. He loves playing jazz on the tenor saxophone.

She got involved with the Residential Safety Program, as the Secretary of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and is a former mentee. She taught herself how to ride a bike when she was 15.
