Hillary Ng Speaks About Her Experience Majoring inComputer Engineering



Stony Brook University offers a variety of learning opportunities, even if you are a complete novice in a topic.

Hillary Ng, a graduating Computer Engineering student at Stony Brook University didn’t have any coding or programming background, even though she’s always been curious about how computers work. Taking ESE 124 was a turning point though, as it helped her discover her passion for Computer Engineering. Eventually, she would go on to participate in HopperHacks as her first experience in a hackathon, where she learned the importance of collaboration and gave her confidence in her own abilities. These experiences are a great way to reflect on her undergrad!
