Important Submission Guidelines:

  • Single Submission: Please only fill out the form once to avoid processing delays.

Fall 2026 Registration Forms

  • Deadline: Sunday, August 30, 2026.

  • Note: Forms submitted after this date are not guaranteed to be processed before the add/drop deadline.

Major/Minor Declaration

The declaration period is for the Fall 2026 semester.

  1. Start Date: Monday, March 30, 2026

  2. End Date: Friday, August 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM

  3. Where to find the form:
    1.  Log into SOLAR.
    2.  Navigate to Manage Classes.
    3. Click on Undergraduate Major/Minor form.

Curricular Exception Requests

Students must follow all Biology major/minor requirements in the Undergraduate Catalog. However, the Curriculum Committee may consider exceptions for documented, unforeseen circumstances.

AMS 110 Enrollment Requests for

Biology Majors

Please complete this form if you are a BIO major that is looking to enroll in AMS 110 with AMS 102/AP credit on your academic record. This is the only time this form can be utilized for enrollment.

These courses provide academic credit for research-focused experiences in the biological sciences.

Requirement: You must be officially accepted into a research lab before registering for credit.

This course provides academic credit for volunteer internship experiences in the biological sciences.

Requirement: You must be officially accepted into an internship before registering for credit.

Undergraduate Teaching Practicum Registration (UGTA)

These courses provide academic credit for undergraduate teaching experiences in the biological sciences.

Requirement: You must be officially accepted into a UGTA position before registering for credit.
