Bio:

I hold a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Sociology, both from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. In my previous research, I worked in various areas including child labor in agriculture, gender dynamics of economic crisis and economic cooperative practices. My M.A thesis studies the tea production in Turkey focusing on political economy, development and women’s labor.

More recently, I am interested in projects combining studies of environmental policies within inequality dimensions using computational methods.
