DISPLAY FONTS

EFFRA HEAVY is the only font that should be used for headlines or display typography. The display typography can include the FAR BEYOND lock-up as a part of the text to create a call out or headline. It is preferable to combine display typography with the brand colors and the graphic rays.

DISPLAY FONT USAGE: OPTION B

An alternative typography option is provided for usage in more dynamic layouts. The direction integrates the University headline font with a graphic “ray” language that has been developed from the rays on the Stony Brook shield. The typography should always be cut per the guidelines below (on angles that mimic the angles of the shield rays) and layouts should always include a graphic ray layer in order to provide purpose to the typographic cuts.

DISPLAY FONT USE USAGE: CUT ANGLES

The angles of the “cuts” are based on the rays of the shield.
