Marrisa graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology, summa cum laude, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. An inaugural member of the Stony Brook women’s lacrosse program, Marrisa was a four year starter, two-time captain, and earned numerous honors (America East All-Rookie Team, two-time America East Second Team, finalist for the inaugural America East Woman of the Year Award, and SUNY Chancellor Scholar-Athlete Award). Marrisa also holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy from Stony Brook University and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from SUNY Buffalo Law School.
