Barry Barish

Biography

I am Distinguished Endowed Chair in Physics here at Stony Brook University and Linde Professor of Physics, emeritus at California Institute of Technology. I am leading expert on gravitational waves and I was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics for the discovery of gravitational waves.
