Length/Format Guidelines. The abstract should be ~ 300 words in length and MUST BE APPROVED by your faculty research supervisor. If research was conducted off-campus, be sure to indicate the research institution where your work was done (e.g. Brookhaven National Labs, name of university, etc.).  Underline the names of all undergraduate co-authors. The abstract should also recognize any funding sources. For example, “This work was supported with funding from Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URECA).” Tables or graphs may be included if they are relevant and appropriate to the discipline. Please be sure to include a  TITLE and AUTHOR* line with your abstract.

Note on abstracts with multiple undergraduate authors/co-presenters:  Undergraduate presenters for a project will be listed in the program in the order submitted on the abstract: please be sure to check with your faculty mentor whether it is appropriate to list by relative contribution/significance of role in project, alphabetically  (if all students have an equal role), etc.  . For example, it is possible that a student may be listed on two poster projects --but may have a primary role on one project/secondary role on another project.
