Optimizing Community-based Inclusion for Children with Disabilities ConferenceCALL FOR ABSTRACTS for poster session
Overview:
This one-day conference seeks to establish Stony Brook University as a knowledge broker to promote community-based participation in recreation and leisure activities for children with disabilities.
The Inclusion Done Right! Optimizing Community-based Inclusion for Children with Disabilities Conference will include a one-hour poster session where investigators can share their research relevant to the support of recreation and leisure activities for children with disabilities. Stony Brook University faculty are invited to submit an abstract for consideration. If accepted, faculty will be notified with more details about the conference and their participation in the poster session.
Eligibility: All Stony Brook University faculty/researchers actively engaged in research relevant to the overall conference goals.
Requirements:
- All abstracts must be submitted as a PDF file through the call for abstracts portal.
- Abstracts are limited to no more than one page in length and must include: (1) Title of the research project; (2) A description of the work that will be presented; and (3) An explanation of the project’s relevance to supporting recreation and leisure activities for children with disabilities.
