Q/F/T* SBU: A Series of Queer/Feminist/Trans* Study
Q/F/T* SBU is an Humanities Institute at Stony Brook/Women's Gender, and Sexualty Studies Colllaboration, begun in Spring 2014, and designed to create interdisciplinary conversations about gender and sexuality in transnational contexts. Rather than thinking about queer/feminist/trans* as specific categories, we are more interested in queer/feminist/trans* as method(s) for enacting new subjects, analyses, aesthetics, politics, and worlds. We are especially interested in programming that will draw diverse audiences and create opportunities for exchanges across differences.
We welcome ideas from faculty, students, staff, and the wider Long Island community for future programming and collaborations.
