I received my BA in Chemistry (with a concentration in biochemistry and a minor in philosophy) from SUNY New Paltz in 2013. During my rotation in the Seeliger lab, I worked on optimization of an inducible gene expression system based on riboswitches and I am continuing to work on this project. I hope to continue doing research at the chemistry/biology interface, perhaps eventually as a professor.
