About the Stony Brook Kappas Alumni Group
The Stony Brook Kappas alumni group consists of over 60 professional men who attended
Stony Brook University and were initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., a
college fraternity founded in 1911 on the principle of achievement.
These men have vowed to help others who are following in their footsteps by establishing
the Stony Brook Kappas Endowed Achievement Scholarship to support underrepresented
and civically engaged students at Stony Brook University.
They remain active with the university through its various affinity and alumni groups,
mentoring students and actively participating in Stony Brook’s Homecoming festivities,
including hosting the annual Stony Brook Kappas HomeKoming Scholarship Gala - A Sneaker
Ball.
