- Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rutgers
- Helped create the Rutgers Cleft and Craniofacial Clinic, which serves children in New Jersey who have cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial differences
- Received the Robert Wood Johnson Trauma Hero Award in 2023 and 2025 for helping patients affected by massive traumatic injuries
