- Recognized as an expert in emergency preparedness and response by the Maryland National Guard and State Surgeon.
- Recipient of the St. Mary’s County Health Department Resilience Award during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Invited to participate in State Cabinet meetings for logistical planning and resource allocation during the pandemic, resulting in an invitation to the White House with other providers selected by the American Health Care Association.
- Founding member of Feed St. Mary's County, the first food bank to serve the Southern Maryland Region.
- Recipient of the Norman H. Edelman Alumni Achievement Award.
