- Used her expertise as a respiratory therapist/physician to assist the healthcare community during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Established and pioneered an outreach program to fight hunger by hand-producing baked goods and delivering them to her local community
- Assistant director of the Med-Achieve program, which mentored minority high school students pursuing a career in the medical field
- Recipient of the Stony Brook University Health and Technology Management Program’s Outstanding Alumni Award
