- With SUNY and National Institutes of Health-funded support, published by "Academic Medicine" and "Annals of Biomedical Engineering" for her novel multidisciplinary engineering education paradigms
- Resident editor for "Academic Emergency Medicine” and recipient of two national research and education awards during the 2019 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Annual Conference — the first at Stony Brook Medicine to receive these honors
