BE/MS Mechanical Engineering

Testing Engineer, Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company

  • Engineering career in aerospace that involved product design, certification, and testing of new aircrafts to the global marketplace
  • Part of the propulsion system team that designed the 787 Dreamliner, and led the supplier testing for the larger derivative airplane
  • Led the testing of main rotor helicopter components of new aircrafts for domestic and international military agencies. Part of the structural test team that certified commercial and military helicopters, including Marine One, the Presidential helicopter
  • Serves as the treasurer for the New York City Professional Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers and involved with National Society of Engineers, MESA (Math Engineering Science Achievement, which gives students opportunities to interact with STEM), College Success Academy and the Urban League Young Professionals
