Pride@SBU LGBTQ+ Alumni Network
The mission of the Pride@SBU LGBTQ+ Alumni Network is to create community and foster continuing connections between Stony Brook University’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual … (LGBTQIA+) alumni, current students and the university. Through relationship building, knowledge/skill sharing and the cultivation of engaging experiences, Pride@SBU seeks to promote social, educational and professional opportunities for all Stony Brook University LGBTQ+ people and our communities.
Together, alumni can continue to invest in and encourage the growth of a more inclusive and life-affirming Stony Brook University community, one that is dedicated to educating, advocating and celebrating LGBTQ+ students, alumni and communities on and off campus. This group is open to all alumni.
We invite all LGBTQ+ alumni to get involved with Pride@SBU by doing any of the following:
- Stay up to date on upcoming opportunities and LGBTQ+ alumni in the news by signing up for our mailing list!
- Attend events and social opportunities for LGBTQ+ alumni to (re)connect.
- Build connections with like-minded alumni to expand your professional network.
- Join the Pride@SBU coordinating committee. Email us today!
- Support the LGBTQ* Center and its affiliated student groups by contributing to the LGBTQ* Center Fund for Excellence.
