CITI Training
Stony Brook University uses the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) to provide online training in research security, Conflict of Interest, export controls, and other research-related areas.
ORS-related training available through CITI includes:
- Research Security Training — supports University and federal sponsor research security training requirements.
- Conflict of Interest (COI) Training — supports University and applicable federal sponsor COI training requirements.
- Export Control Training — provides training on U.S. export control requirements and may be required for individuals participating in certain export-controlled activities or projects.
Training requirements vary based on an individual's role, research activities, funding, and sponsor requirements. Availability of a course in CITI does not necessarily mean that the course is required for you.
