Our Mission
Payments provides the Campus community with efficient and professional support for
the payment of goods and services in support of the University's educational, research,
healthcare, and administrative needs. State and Research Foundation Payables processes
vendor payments in an accurate and proficient manner while following the rules, policies,
and regulations of each respective funding source. New York State and the Research
Foundation of SUNY are tax exempt entities. When using New York State funds, timeliness
of payment and any interest paid for late payment shall be governed by Article XI-A,
Interest Payments on Certain Amounts Owed by State, Section 179 of the New York State
Finance Law to the extent required by law. New York State Finance Law and the associated
