Lu Agnew

Lu Agnew is an artist and Ph.D. student at Stony Brook University. They obtained their bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in 2024 and are currently focused on exploring the intersection of aesthetics and digitally-mediated experience. 

Their in-progress writing projects include The Tattoo: A Site of Aesthetic Value, Generative AI Convergence, and The Endless Feed: A Phenomenological Analysis of Scrolling. With digital technology becoming an increasingly pervasive element of daily life, Agnew is interested in researching how this integration impacts the human experience.
