Creative Writing, Film and Television Social Work Biology Online
Creative Writing, Film and Televison
The Department of Creative Writing, Film and Televsion in the College of Arts and Sciences offers courses in its MFA programs in Creative Writing, Film and Television Writing at the Stony Brook Manhattan Center for Creative Writing and Film, located at 535 8th Avenue.
Earn an MFA degree by combining Manhattan courses with credit-bearing workshops at the Southampton Writers Conference in July and classes at Stony Brook Southampton.

Social Work
Through our affiliation with the SUNY College of Optometry, our School of Social Welfare extends its reach across the New York Metropolitan region. Students can pursue a Master's degree (MSW), which prepares graduates for advanced social work practice.
We are located centrally at 33 West 42nd Street across from Bryant Park and within walking distance of Times Square and Grand Central Station.
Students enrolled in Manhattan can also take classes at the Stony Brook campus on Long Island.

Biology Online Exams
Stony Brook's Online Biology program provides quality, rigorous biology courses to students worldwide. Courses are designed for ease of navigation, peer-to peer learning, and the integration of content knowledge with critical scientific thought.
For students from the New York City region, exams for the following courses are offered each summer at the SUNY School of Optometry with no exam fee.
