Dr. Ahyad received her PhD in Linguistics with a concentration in Arabic morphophonology. Her research is experimental in nature and focuses on the perception and production of adult language learners. Her current work examines the acquisition of novel Arabic sounds and the development of linguistic tools designed to enhance learners’ perception, production, and comprehension. Dr. Ahyad is also interested in materials development, experiential learning, and language assessment.
