Virtual Open House for PhD Applicants

We invite you to join us on Zoom for an upcoming information session for prospective students interested in pursuing a PhD in our department.

This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about our PhD program, our faculty research, and the interdisciplinary research environment within the department. Faculty members will highlight current and emerging research areas and discuss the types of research questions and projects that PhD students may pursue.

We will also discuss what we look for in prospective PhD candidates, including academic preparation, research experience, research interests, and the importance of finding a strong match between a student’s goals and our faculty’s areas of expertise.

We encourage prospective applicants to attend, particularly those who are interested in interdisciplinary research and whose interests align with the department’s research areas.
