This research area examines the complex relationships among technology, human behavior, environmental systems, and public policy in advancing sustainability and societal resilience. Research explores how artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and technological innovation can address environmental and climate challenges, improve energy efficiency, and support sustainable infrastructure and communities. Additional areas of focus include environmental behavior and decision-making, waste management and resource conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, resilient urban systems, and policies that promote equitable and sustainable development.
