The Jane & Armando Jannelli-URECA Award
The Jane & Armando Jannelli-URECA award, established in 2019, provides up to $1,000 to an undergraduate to help facilitate research projects at the intersection of Business and Philosophy. The project for which the student is requesting funds must be carried out under the supervision of a Stony Brook faculty member.
This program is open to current Stony Brook undergraduates* ( *the proposed project/activity must be completed by student before graduation ). Students with a major in the College of Business and/or Philosophy in the College of Arts & Sciences, particularly juniors/seniors seeking honors degrees in these fields, are especially encouraged to apply. A minimum GPA of 3.3 in major related coursework is recommended.
How to Apply

An application package will also include: 1) a budget; 2) a letter of support from the student’s faculty supervisor; and 3) a copy of the student’s transcript (unofficial).
The proposal should clearly state how the project explores the application of philosophical
