Supporting Our Team’s Professional Development
We recognize our team is our most important asset and, as such, we are committed to promoting the professional and personal development of our staff. Throughout the year, we offer numerous opportunities to expand the knowledge and expertise of our teams through workshops, conferences and symposiums, and facilitate the exchange of ideas through internal and external programs and events. Also, notably as part of a tradition spanning over forty years, we celebrate the outstanding accomplishments and efforts of our staff in our annual Student Affairs Convocation.
Most recently added to our professional development offerings are:
- The Diversity Leadership Development Initiative (DLDI) which strives to cultivate an affirming and rich professional development environment for historically underrepresented Student Affairs professionals.
- Professional staff on-boarding which creates an early sense of identity and membership to the team as well as relays important tips and information for success.
- Strengths-based coaching, leadership development, and organizational philosophy.
