Student Affairs Graduate Student Employee Awards (SAG SEAs) are going Virtual!

SAG SEA ceremony posterThe Division of Student Affairs proudly employees over 150 graduate students from a multitude of academic programs.  Our division truly appreciates our graduate students' valuable work, professionalism and dedication they provide as leaders within Student Affairs and the University community. 

We would like to honor those graduate student employees who meet the criteria and exemplify commitment to our Core Values and Strategic Priorities.

The first Student Affairs Graduate Student Employee Awards (SAG SEAs) will be held on Thursday, April 2nd  at 12:30 pm, virtually

The awards ceremony will celebrate our outstanding graduate students and their achievements within their designated departments or within the division. Supervisors will have the opportunity to celebrate their staff member by accompanying them at the ceremony.


 

There will be 10 (ten) awards presented, one in each of the following areas:

 

Strategic Priorities

Structured well, these experiences can contribute to student learning and development as well as give students a competitive advantage for career, education, and degree opportunities beyond Stony Brook. Our vision is for every Stony Brook University student to participate in at least one experiential learning activity.



Student Success: We embrace a vision of success for undergraduate and graduate students that is multidimensional, complex, and nuanced. We support student success, retention, and graduation by providing programs, services, and facilities that engage students in their continuous development.



Organizational Excellence: We recognize that through a skilled and passionate workforce, as well as a culture of organizational excellence, we provide the highest quality programs and services to our students and peers. We commit to enhance our practices in resource management to advance our operation and ensure we are excellent, cost-effective, and accessible
