Organ Donor Registration
You can save the lives of at least 8 people by becoming an organ donor!
On Thursday, October 8th we will be joining forces with LiveOnNY to make a difference in the lives of New Yorkers for the sixth annual Organ Donor Enrollment Day. This year, the event will be virtual and asks everyone to consider becoming a life saving organ donor. It's easy to do online and only takes a couple of minutes.

This year's events (2020)
Virtual Trivia! - Join us throughout the day on Facebook Live as we play a fun game of trivia. We will be hosting trivia at 1pm and 7pm on October 8, 2020.
Informational Table - Stop by to learn about organ donation and pick up some fun giveaways. We will be outside the Student Union from 12pm-2pm on October 8, 2020. Please be sure to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines when visiting the table.

- Every person who registers to become an organ donor can save up to 8 lives and another 50 lives can be improved through tissue donation.
- 10,000 New Yorkers are waiting for an organ.
- Every 10 minutes another person is added to the national transplant waiting list.
- Every 18 hours a New Yorker dies waiting for an organ.
