Most of the off campus restaurants require a car to get to. Below are some of our suggestions  which you can reach by a short walk.

Green Tea (Chinese)

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area (and on Long Island) offers authentic Sichuan cuisine. It is possible to walk to this restaurant, as it is located right across the Stony Brook train station. Some of the dishes served there are pretty hot! This restaurant is a good option for having a group dinner, as sharing dishes is encouraged.
