Unique Facilities to Address Scientific Goals

The Institute of Energy, Environment, Sustainability and Equity has access to world class facilities.  The unique resources and capabilities available to this Center can be highlighted with five special facilities: the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC) at Stony Brook University, the Interdisciplinary Science Building (ISB), National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II), and Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) at Brookhaven National Laboratory.


At Stony Brook University, the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC) is home to the IESE.
