The Center for Service Learning and Community Service partners with nonprofit organizations to support student interest in service and contributing to the public good. Community partners can learn more about how to connect with Stony Brook University to recruit volunteers, partner with faculty, or hire students through the Community Service Federal Work Study Program.

Events And Programs

Service learning is a form of experiential learning that integrates classroom learning with service activities to address the needs of surrounding communities. Faculty and staff can collaborate with the Center for Service Learning and Community Service to implement service into curriculum and develop partnerships with community organizations.
