Applying to the BSB Graduate Program

To insure full consideration of applications, domestic students US or Permanent Residents students the deadline is January 15th for Fall admission. The foreign students deadline is January 1st for Fall admission. However, late applications will be considered, and applicants are encouraged to contact the program for information concerning late applications.

Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. The suggested background includes mathematics through one year of calculus and at least one year of physics, biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry; one semester of physical chemistry is also suggested. The General Test of the Graduate Record Examinations is required, and the Subject Test in the appropriate field is recommended. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of all students whose native language is not English, regardless of citizenship. Students who do not meet these requirements may be admitted on condition that they remedy deficiencies after admission. Students who are members of minority groups are encouraged to apply.
