B.S., 2009, Iona College

I graduated from Iona College, New Rochelle NY in 2009 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Biology. At Iona, I held two distinct research projects during my undergraduate studies: Organic Chemistry (Mentor Dr. Terrence Gavin) and Neuro-Cellular Biology (Mentor Dr. Teresa D'Aversa). I worked as a research assistance at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Department of Medicine) from 2009-2011. Currently, I am in the Biochemistry and Structural Biology program at Stony Brook University. My current research focuses on the development of antibacterial agents that inhibit bacterial respiration via menaquinone biosynthesis.
