I received my bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Nanjing University, China, in 2012. I came to the United States after that, and joined the Ph.D. program in chemistry at Stony Brook University. In Dr. Tonge's lab, I have focused on antibacterial drug discovery targeting bacteria cell envelopes.
