College of Business Undergraduate Student Advisory Board

The Dean's College of Business Undergraduate Student Advisory Board provides a forum for undergraduate students in the College of Business to provide feedback to the Dean and other administrators in the College of Business.  This is accomplished through ongoing meetings and open dialogue.  The information provided by these students assists in driving change and they act as a sounding board for new initiatives.


Gabriel Chang

gabriel changGabriel Chang is a senior Business Management student specializing in Accounting and Finance, as well as majoring in Economics. Around campus, he is an intern in the procurement office, Vice President of Scholarship and Awards of Delta Sigma Pi, Event Coordinator of the SBU Finance Society, Secretary of the Chess Club, and member of the Investment Club. In his free time, he likes playing chess, jogging, and watching soccer matches. After graduation, Gabriel plans to pursue a career in finance.


 

Harrison Feig

harrison feigHarrison Feig is a senior Business Management major specializing in Marketing. He is planning on staying for an additional year at Stony Brook to complete the Advanced Business Track MBA. Harrison is a Fellow for the LDS introductory course and an RA for James College in H-Quad. Last year he was a member of his hall council as a senator for RHA, where he hosted a multitude of events. One of his passions is radio, and he hosts a weekly radio talk show through Stony Brook's station, WUSB 90.1FM. During his free time, Harrison enjoys swimming, ultimate frisbee, and hiking. After graduation, Harrison plans to pursue a career in Marketing. 


 

Evangeline Parlapanides

evangelineEvangeline Parlapanides is a senor majoring in Business Management and specializing in Marketing and Finance. Originally from Long Island, Evangeline found that Stony Brook was a perfect fit to continue her education. She is currently a Brother of Delta Sigma Pi, a Career Center Intern, a member of the College of Business’s Mentorship Program, and is on the Red Watch Band Care Team. In her free time, Evangeline enjoys traveling the areas around campus, finding new places to explore and dine at with her friends, photography and painting. 


 

 

Shruti Patel

shruti patelShruti Patel is a senior Business Management student specializing in Operations Management, as well as a minor in Health, Medicine, and Society. Along with that, Shruti is part of the Business Honors Program and will be conducting research with Professor Christine Pitocco on the impact of hospital ratings in New York State. Shruti has served as a Summer Orientation Leader and was a GWC fellow. She will also be an Operations and Talent Management Intern at the Career Center. In her free time, Shruti enjoys reading, running, going on walks, and spending time with friends and family. She is also into graphic designing and calligraphy, for which she is planning on starting a small business for selling handwritten signs. After graduating, Shruti aspires to gain more work experience and eventually get a master's degree in healthcare administration.


 

Shrujay Rompicherla

shrujayShrujay Rompicherla is a senior majoring in Business Management specializing in Finance with minors in Accounting & Information Systems. He is originally from Albany, NY, and chose to attend Stony Brook University for its great value and education. Along with being on the board, Shrujay is involved with various clubs and organizations, including Delta Sigma Pi, Investment Club, and Finance Society, and conducts research with Professor Aaron Kim on blockchain & cryptocurrency. Outside of school, Shrujay has experienced internships in Data Analytics, Financial Modeling, Equity Research, and FP&A and will be a summer intern at PwC this year. His interests include fashion, working out, trying new restaurants, going on road trips, listening to rap and R&B music, and binge-watching TV shows & movies. He is also an avid NBA fan and aspires to be the happiest, most successful, and best version of himself.


Seth Rosenthal

seth rosenthalSeth Rosenthal is a junior majoring in Business Management, specializing in Finance and is in the Business Honors Program. Seth is originally from Lynbrook, NY, and chose to transfer to Stony Brook University from Nassau Community College where he was Valedictorian, for its quantitative finance programs. Along with being on the Dean's Advisory Board, Seth is involved with various clubs and organizations, including the Block Chain Business Lab and the Investment Club. Additionally, he conducts research with Professor Aaron Kim and Professor Danling Jiang on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and grey swan market events. Outside of school, Seth publishes on Substack through his company Market Math LLC about quantitative finance, mathematical modeling, and stock trading. His interests include fashion, working out, five card texas hold'em, and K-9 training and handling. After graduation, Seth aspires to launch a hedge fund.


 

Kayla Yousefzadeh

Kayla YousefzadehKayla Yousefzadeh is a senior Business Management major specializing in Marketing and Accounting, with a minor in Communication and Innovation. Kayla has been a teaching assistant for various business courses, as well as a fellow for one of the undergraduate colleges. Kayla is involved in various clubs and organizations on campus, and is currently the President of the Jewish Student Association. In her free time, Kayla enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants! After graduation, Kayla plans to pursue a masters degree.
