The mission of the Stony Brook University College of Business is to deliver outstanding and accessible business education at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels; create and share globally recognized business knowledge that has both immediate and enduring practical impact; and lead in fostering business development and well-being in diverse communities in the region and beyond.

In a significant move to bolster social mobility and academic excellence, Stony Brook University has announced an expanded partnership with Yardi Systems to establish the Yardi Expanded Cohort Scholars program.
This comprehensive four-year initiative is designed to pave a clear path to success for 100 first-generation students, providing them with the mentorship, community, and professional development needed to thrive in the competitive world of business.
Stony Brook University is advancing plans for a new home for the College of Business, replacing Harriman Hall with a modern academic facility designed to support the next generation of business leaders.
This approximately 80,000+ gross square foot building will feature flexible classrooms, dedicated advising and career services spaces, faculty offices, and shared common areas that foster collaboration and community, representing a long-term investment in academic excellence for decades to come.

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how we think, work, and lead. This shift drives our new multi-year initiative, “Rethinking the Business Mind: Bridging Human Insight with Machine Intelligence.”
