Syllabus Toolkit

The syllabus is the foundation for your course. Curating your syllabus can help you as an instructor establish your expectations and align your learning objectives, assessments and course content.

CELT created in-person and online syllabus templates for you to use and adapt to fit your needs. These include versions with guiding comments and sample statements and versions without these comments.

These syllabi templates are now more accessible including using headings, subheadings and a table of contents for ease of navigation. As you make modifications make sure to use keep the formating, use the built in headings, and update your table of contents.

Why Do We Use a Table of Contents?

A table of contents is included in all of our syllabi templates to provide a more accessible experience for all students. The table of contents is generated from the use of headings and subheadings which create a document that is easier to navigate and provides a more seamless experience  for those that use screen readers.
