Bio:

Lai Wei is an Assistant Professor in the Management: Operations and Decision Analytics Area at the College of Business at Stony Brook University. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. She earned her Ph.D. in Technology and Operations from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Her research interests include analytical supply chain management, human-centric operations management, the societal impact of operations and social dynamics in operational settings, artificial intelligence and large language models, luxury retail and counterfeiting, and inventory and fulfillment management.
