Bio:
Kangkang Qi, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Operations & Decision Analytics (ODA) area of the College of Business at Stony Brook University. He earned his PhD in Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Technology Management, from Michigan State University.
At Stony Brook, Dr. Qi teaches Information Systems in Management in the undergraduate program, as well as Data Visualization & Storytelling and the Analytics Practicum Capstone in the MS in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (MSBAI) program.
Dr. Qi’s research interests include IT management, IT entrepreneurship, healthcare IT, social media, the economics of information systems, and business analytics.
