Qualified students will take a prescribed 30 credits (10 classes) in the finance area, all taught by leading College of Business finance faculty. Students who graduate with the MS in Finance degree from the Stony Brook University College of Business will be well suited for careers in banking, hedge funds, corporate finance, and regulation.

The program can be completed full-time in two semesters. It is also possible to complete the program on a part-time basis, however we recommend you meet with an advisor to discuss your schedule.
