Bio
Currently, Toni works at Brookhaven National Laboratory supporting Co-Design Center
for Quantum Advantage and the Chemistry Department. Toni is a seasoned professional
accountant bringing years of expertise in finance including budget preparation, data
presentation, collection and control. With experience in the education and pharmaceutical
sectors, her hypervigilance on “strategic financial goals” proved to be invaluable
towards the development of the Center’s automated financial reporting using data sets
in Power BI.
Toni spent more than 20 years at Stony Brook University, where she served in several
different roles including Assistant Controller for The Faculty Student Association.
In her role as a Senior Financial Analyst, she prepared the closings for SBU Division
One Athletics, Childcare, and the Stony Brook Foundation. Toni was also the Controller
at the Stony Brook School, a top east coast boarding school.
Earlier in her career, Toni worked at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals. She was recruited
out of college by Ernst and Young. She has had her own clients as well.
She holds an MBA from Stony Brook University and completed the Comprehensive Project
Management program and PMP test preparation classes from Stony Brook in 2024.
Research: Her capstone project (2023) was a study on how to standardize accounting documentation across organizations and industries
